Yolo County Democratic Party to Host Assembly Speaker John A. Pérez in West Sacramento

West Sacramento, CA- The Yolo County Democratic Party welcomes Assembly Speaker John A. Perez to West Sacramento in April. The Democratic Party looks forward to taking a moment to celebrate the victories in 2010 and our sound defeat of the Republican tide, even as we are already preparing for the very important 2011 election cycle.

This fundraising event, featuring Assembly Speaker John A. Perez, takes place on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 from 5:30-7:30pm at the West Sacramento Community Center (1075 West Capitol Ave., West Sacramento).

The focus will be on the critical budget situation we are facing in California, as well as the Democratic efforts to prevent the Tea Party activists and the Republicans from rolling back environmental safeguards and eliminating the rights of workers.

This is a great opportunity to support our Democratic Legislators, to learn more about what is being done to prepare for the challenges of the 2012 election cycle, and to find out how you can help.

Tickets are $25.00 per person and can be purchased at the door or at
https://secure.actblue.com/page/ycdc_perez.

For more information or to volunteer contact Kelsey McQuaid at (949) 338-4194 or

The Yolo County Democratic Party looks forward to seeing you and celebrating our 2010 victories.
